She was predeceased by: her husband Cyrus C. Koon; and her sister Mildred Cook Green. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Dunson (Don) of Brewton; her grandchildren, Brian Dunson and Bradley Dunson (Kim); her great grandchildren, Brandon Dunson, Lydia Dunson and Thomas Dunson; and her nieces, Anne Yuhasz (Nick) and Gwynne Shell (Joey).
