She was predeceased by : her parents, Mitchell Smith and Mary Smith; her husband James Bo Kirk; her son Danny Kirk; her grandson Bubba Kirk; and her siblings, Eva Jo Barnswell, Nellie Sue Lovelace, Lela Mae Linder, Sybil Byram, Lois Gossett, Greely Smith, Alfred Nabors and Floyd Nabors.
She is survived by : her children, Donna "Tootsie" Hurst, Judy Curtis (Sam), Sheila Pittman (Rick), Larry Kirk (Amanda) and Stevie Kirk (Diane); and her brother Mitchell Bo Smith. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
