He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliza Samantha Pike Hill and Curtis Floyd Hill; and his son Phil Alan Hill. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hill; his children, Mark Hill (Teresa), Tracy Lucas (Michael), Amanda Hill (Josh) and Carl Hill; his grandchildren, Samantha Smitherman (Corey), Brittany Lucas (Jacob), Peyton Lucas (Savannah), Justin Wood, Logan Wood, Robert Hill and Sara Hill; his great grandchildren, Scott Smitherman, Jonathan Smitherman, Brooklyn Lucas and Ryleigh Lucas; his sisters, Geraldine Alexander and Linda "Tootsie" Chapman (Dennis); and his brother-in-law Gaylon Alexander. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
