He was predeceased by: his son Neal Roberts (Myrtle Ruth Roberts). He is survived by: his children, Jay Roberts (Kerry) of Pike Road, AL, Mark Roberts (Emily) of Vestavia, AL, Lynn Heaton (Steve) of Fayetteville, GA and Leigh Ledlow of Newnan, GA; and his sister Katie King of Millbrook, AL. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
