He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Balentine and Lillie Balentine; his wife Earline Behel Balentine; and his siblings, Garrett, John, Tollie, Hassel, Will and Nettie.
He is survived by: his sister Opal Aday of Tuscumbia; his children, Debra Wilson (David), Norene Olive (Larry) of Florence and Jessie Balentine of Southwest Harbor, Maine; and his grandchildren, David Wilson (Jerri), Davin Wilson (Kim), Dedra Wilson Sheffield (Andy), Kim Olive Colla (Derek) and Heather Olive Kersey (Caleb). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
