He was predeceased by : his parents, John Woodie Martin and Mellie Sheffield Martin. He is survived by : his wife Jenny Martin; his children, Mary Donna Martin Phillips (George Cecil), Otis D. "Bo" Martin, Jr., Mellie Christina Martin (James Harvell) and Tonya Danielle Martin (Freddie Logan); his grandchildren, Joshua Hamilton Phillips, Danielle Long, Christina Long, Trey Logan and Adyson Harvell; his great grandchild Braelynn Turner; and his pet Callie.
