With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie J. Capps (Calera, Alabama), born in San Diego, California, who passed away on May 2, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Frank Johnson; and her husband Bobby Capps Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sheavon Rhoads (Billy) of Calera and Ryan Capps (Ashlyn) of Helena; her grandchildren, Madelyn Rhoads, Joshua Rhoads, Harper Capps and Cason Capps; her mother Helen Reeves Johnson of Alabaster; and her brother Mike Johnson (Wendy) of Summerville. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Charter Funeral Home from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 10 people can enter at a time.
