He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Stanley and Audrey Bonds Stanley; and his brother James Pate. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Ward Stanley; his son David William Stanley (Jordan); his granddaughter Taylor Ann Stanley; his son Zachery Taylor Stanley (Elise); and his siblings, Johnny Wayne Stanley (Brenda), Jerry Pate, Dorothy Taylor and Margaret Ashby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
