She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Douglas Reid; her son Dennis Douglas Reid; and her siblings, Louise G. Lowery, Rubye G. Andrews, H. P. Gates Jr. and Thomas George Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Reid Vogtner (George) of Mobile, AL and George T. Reid of Campbell, AL; her grandchildren, Marie V. McCafferty (Eric Budinich) of Mobile, AL, Jean V. Duncan (Michael) of Mobile, AL, Priscilla Reid Collinsworth (Jason) of Grove Hill, AL and Cody Lowery (Kayla Thomason) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Alexa, Jacob Duncan, Aidan McCafferty, Avery and Abigail Collinsworth; and her sisters, Betty G. Bradford, Johnie G. Dungan, Evelyn G. Green, Peggy P. Gates and Billie Jean Reid. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
