It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Anna Rutledge Files of Carbon Hill, Alabama, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Leon "Pete" Files; her parents, Cody Rutledge and Alma Rutledge; and her siblings, Howard Rutledge, A. C. Rutledge, Ellis Rutledge, Mabel Kilgo, Hazel Hendon, Elizabeth Hinds, Dolly Long, Ruth Sawyer and Eunice Rutledge.

She is survived by: her son Jamie L. Files; her daughter-in-law Amanda Files; her grandchild Kendall Grace Files; and her siblings, Shelby Heathcock, Alvie Cook and Jimmie Rutledge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Eldridge Baptist Church for Operation Christmas Child.
