It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Davis of Carbon Hill, Alabama, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Tallie May Johnson and Connie Johnson; her son Donald "Bo" Dozier; her great grandchild Hayden Lee Dozier; and her siblings, Junior Ray Johnson, Clarence Johnson, Delton Johnson, Wilma Feltman and Pauline Tidwell.

She is survived by : her children, Dexter Dozier (Christy) and Shirley Guthrie (Charles); her siblings, Jewell Phillips, Shirley Raines, James Ray Johnson and Robert Joe Johnson; and her grandchildren, Dexter Dozier, Tamara Millwood, Veronica McGough (Ronnie), Nikki Keeton (Nick), Chase Lawrence (Kristen), Kelly Wright (Joey), Mandy Handley (Matt) and Matthew Colburn.
