With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammie Lou Latham of Carbon Hill, Alabama, born in Townley, Alabama, who passed away on July 22, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Latham; her parents, Sam Holley and Evelyn Louise Holley; and her sisters, Barbara Ingle and Frances Vinson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Yolanda Latham of Carbon Hill and Kristel Gray (Jeff) of Alabaster; her grandchild Holley Gray Grimes (Brady); her brother-in-law Harold Latham; and her sibling's children, Rene Montabana (Tony) and Bryant Latham (Kelly).
