He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Parr (Hinds) and Erisken Parr; his brother Charles Parr; his son Donald Parr; and his grandson Matthew Parr.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Parr of Carbon Hill; his daughter Christy Abram (Terry) of Nauvoo; his daughter-in-law Beth Parr of New Jersey; his sons, Johnny Parr (Donna) of Florida and Jonathan Parr (Amy) of Nauvoo; his brother Bobby Parr (Harriet) of Parrish; and his grandchildren, Allie Thompson (Sawyer), Zackari Lawhorn, Zoie Lawhorn, Carson Parr, Caasi Lirosi (Jarrett), Alyssa Cignarella (Michael), Christine Muzzone (Michael), Donald Parr (Tiffany) and Patrick Parr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
