Nellie Frances Wood Chance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Frances Wood Chance of Centreville, Alabama, who passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Wood and Cynthia Ingram Wood of Thomas Mill, Alabama.; her brother Richard Avery Wood; and her brothers-in-law, John Doss and Frank Whaley.
She is survived by : her husband Monroe Chance; her sons, Daniel M. Chance (Chiame) of Centreville, Donald L. Chance (Sharon) of Wichita Falls and Joseph W. Chance (Susan) of Ormond Beach, Florida; her siblings, William "Bill" Wood (Nena), Ronnie Wood (Mary), Brenda Doss and Wanda Whaley; and her sister-in-law Rebecca "Ellen" Wood. She is also survived by seven grandsons; nine great-grandchildren.
