He was predeceased by: his wife Luna Belle Jackson Hand; and his brothers, John Thomas Hand and Bob Hand. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Jo Hand of Alexander City and LuWina Hand of New Site; his grandchildren, Leslie Rhodes (Chad) and Leah Schmidt (Tom); his great grandchildren, Laurel Hanna, Lily Segler, Camryn Rhodes and Tommy Schmidt; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Hand and Edweina Kilpatrick.
