He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben B. Kennedy and Bessie Colley Kennedy; his wife Gay Nell Kennedy; his stepsons, James T. Trimble and Jessie D. Trimble; his brothers, Troy Kennedy and Junior Kennedy; and his sisters-in-law, Nellie Jean and Eloise Kennedy.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jimmie Trimble (Susan Hall) of New Site and Donna Edwards; his grandchildren, Jamie Moore, Mark Foshee and A. J.; and his great grandchildren, Maria Moore and Austin Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
