He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Lathan and Garnet Wood Lathan; and his grandson Bailey Reese Baxter. He is survived by : his wife Ella Lathan; his children, Darrell Lathan (Gay), Jill Baxter (Austin), Brenda Lundy (Joe) and Amanda Keller (Gene); his grandchildren, Victoria, Doug, Lexie, Devin Lundy, Aidan, Caleb and Jacob Baxter; and his sisters, Betty Loper, Imogene Dickey (Tommy) and Mary Lou Miller (Blue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fairhope Baptist Church in honor of Brian Crouch (4010 Boyd-Willie Parnell Road, Tibbie, AL 36558).
