It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Fazekas of Childersburg, Alabama, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Fazekas and Catherine Fazekas (Dooley). He is survived by : his wife Janet Bryner of Childersburg; his brother John of Lorain, Ohio; his children, Thomas of Grapevine, Texas and Susan Sears (Todd) of Granite Falls, Washington; and his granddaughter Charlotte Ann Goebel of Yelm, Washington..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Midway School Historical Association, 112 11th Avenue, Alexander City, Alabama 35010.
