She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parent Childersburg; her husband Edmund J. H. Johnson Sr.; and her children, Eddie Johnson (Mary Anne) of Arab, AL, Danny Johnson (Brenda) of Durham, NC, Joe Johnson (Deborah) of Yuma, AZ, James Johnson (Carol) of Dadeville, AL and Judi Headrick (Preston) of Hamilton, AL. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
