He was predeceased by : his wives, Peggy Hanson Limbaugh and Juanita Tyler Limbaugh; his son Karl David Limbaugh; his parents, Robert S. Limbaugh, Sr. and Florence Armbrester Limbaugh; and his sister Pat Limbaugh Kallenbach.

He is survived by : his daughters, Vicky Limbaugh Ozment (Jimmy) and Jennifer Limbaugh Barnett (Al); his grandchildren, Jacob Ozment (Lauren), Jackson Barnett, Annie Ozment and John David Barnett; his great grandchild Blaise Sheror Ozment; his siblings, Dan Limbaugh (Pat) and Sue Robbins (Ray); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Kallenbach, Jane Dennis (Sammy), Matilda Cook (Jack) and Peggy Hanson (Jack). He is also survived by his siblings, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alabama Childhood Food Solutions, an organization whose mission was introduced to him by Annie, his precious "girly-girl.".
