She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason Snider and Lela Snider (DeLoach); and her husband Joe Thomas Carter. She is survived by: her caregiver Clanton Hospital; her children, Joe Carter and Debora Wilson (Michael); her grandchildren, Kate Crotwell (Noah) and Carter Wilson (Charlene); and her great grandchildren, Conner Crotwell, Owen Crotwell, Savannah Crotwell and Ozzy Wilson.

In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations in her honor to West End Baptist Church or to ones favorite charity.
