It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Tubbs Johnson of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Maude Clements Marsh; her husbands, William Penny Tubbs and Gordon Johnson; her father Eugene Sanders Marsh; her daughter Cynthia Tubbs Tolbert; and her siblings, Richard Marsh, Jeff Marsh, Eugene Marsh and Lois Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Leisa Aderholt (Robert) and William "Bill" Tubbs (Phyllis); her brother Alen Marsh (Penny); and her grandchildren, Nathan Tubbs (Lesley), Stephen Tubbs (Allison), Rachel McGee (Justin), Tyler Tolbert (Kim), Scott Tolbert, Zachary Aderholt (Holly) and Joshua Aderholt (Cheyanne). She is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
