With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Nell Cooedy of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Lottie Bell Minor Smith; her husband James Arthur Cooedy; her sons, James Oneal Cooedy and Rodney Dale Cooedy; and her siblings, Hollis Smith, Gene Smith, Elaine Smith Hayes and Elma Lee Klinner.

She is survived by: her brother Carl Smith; and her stepgrandchildren, Layne Chapman, Nathan Prince (Sara) and Host. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
