She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Junior and Barbara Ann Champion (Awtrey); and her brother Kenny Joe Champion. She is survived by: her husband Joey Sanders; her children, Whitney Thompson, Colton Sanders and Dyllan Sanders; her grandchildren, Baylee Thompson, Braylan Thompson, Braden Sanders and Aubrie Sanders; and her brother Jerry Champion. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snead Funeral Home (170 Richman Dr, Snead, AL 35952). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
