She is survived by: her children, Sherry Gilmer O'Dell of Ware Shoals, Diana Gilmer Martin of Greenwood, Norma Jane Gilmer of Clinton, Tena Gilmer Loera (Manuel) of Houston, TX and Alvin Wilbert Gilmer, Jr. (Ellen) of Mary Esther, FL; her siblings, David Burkhart of Clarksville, TN and Dare Fields of Murfreesboro, TN; and her grandchildren, Amanda O'Dell, Jeremy O'Dell, Jarrett Thompson, Matthew Canipe, Jacob Canipe, Alicia Leighanne Hairston, Robert Barrington Hairston, II and Jessica Gilmer. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
