She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Beaman Sr. and Elizabeth Keasler Beaman; her daughter Melinda Nelson; her granddaughter Nikki Nelson; and her brothers, Curtis, Troy and Tommy Beaman.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Nelson (Kaye) of Clinton and Barry Nelson (Celia) of Greenwood; and her sister Ann Chaney of Clinton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, PO Box 942, Clinton, SC 29325.
