He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmett Evans and Velar Evans; and his siblings, Etha B. Doster, Joyce Wright, Shirley Hyatt, Gerald Evans, Doug Evans and Melvin Evans.
He is survived by : his wife Inez Gulledge Evans; his sisters, Sara Woodard Overstreet (Joe), Jeanette Baker and Kay Robertson; his aunt Flora Evans Aldape; and his pet Susie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
