He is survived by : his wife Irma Carpenter of Clio; his daughters, Traci Gavanditti of Eufaula and Donna Lasseter of Ozark; his brother Rickey Carpenter (Tim McKinney) of Ocean Ridge, Florida; his grandchildren, Karson Gavanditti, Zachary Shipes and Matthew Davis; his great grandchild Mila Shipes; his nephews, Timmy McKinney Jr. and David Baxter Carpenter Jr. (Amanda); his niece Debbie Jill Woest (David); and his great-nephews, Miles Woest, Max Woest, Eli Carpenter and David Carpenter III.
