He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Tibbs Foster; his nephew John Charles Foster (Janet); his great-niece Victoria Madison Foster Box (Aaron); his niece Kaye Foster Dunlap (Russell); his great-nephew Russell Allen Dunlap; his brother Donald James "Jimmy" Tibbs (Betty); his niece Terri Tibbs Evans (Bob); his great-niece Ashley Nicole Evans; and his great-nephew Hunter Evans.
