We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, at the age of 91, Betty McKemie Oakley of Columbia, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rogers McKemie, Sr. and Iva Killingsworth McKemie; and her husband Benjamin F. Oakley, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Reverend Chip Oakley (Kathy) of Grove Hill, AL and Lawrence Oakley (Kim) of Pike Road, AL; her grandchildren, Beth Oakley Taylor (Crosby), Dexter Larson, Will Oakley and Lexie Crane (Travis); her great grandchild James Taylor; and her caregiver Nancy Griffin.
