He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Edgar Thornburg Sr. and Onzell Thornburg; and his daughter Tina Thornburg. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thornburg; his daughter Mistie Lamar (Kenneth); his grandsons, Justin Lamar (Kayleigh "K. K.") and Jared Lamar (Coral "Nemo"); his great grandchildren, Emily, Brantley and Paisley; his sister Martha Wilder (Kenneth); and his sister-in-law Judy Naugle "HoHo" (Noble).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hubbard Cemetery (6550 Chelsea Rd, Columbiana, AL 35051).
