She was predeceased by : her husband James Dayton Thompson; her children, Jo Ann Thompson and Donald Thompson; and her parents, W. E. Jones and Nora Jones of Wetumpka.
She is survived by : her daughter Kathy Thompson Corbitt; her son-in-law Charles Corbitt; and her grandchildren, Lisa Kathryn Corbitt and Ben Thompson Corbitt. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.
