He is survived by: his wife Emma L. Franklin of Elmore, AL; and his children, Emma Smith, Diann Battle (Tryone), Sallie Joyner (Douglas), Debra Franklin-Gordon (Reginald), Helen Franklin, Sandra Long (Carl), Glenda Billups (Isaac), Cleveland Franklin Jr., Roosevelt Franklin (Brenda), James Franklin (Cynthia) and Andre Franklin (Darlene). He is also survived by three sisters; two sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
