He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Evans Alford, Sr. and Anne Jane Wilson Alford. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sydney "Syd" Pepper Alford; his children, Jon Alford (Emily) and Marianne Alford Donaldson (Brad); his sisters, Ruth Ledyard (Dick) and Claudia Kennedy (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Jayson Alford, Sam Donaldson, Emma Donaldson and Allie Donaldson.
