She was predeceased by : her parents, James Charles and Marguerite Ellen Mace Svitak; her husband Buster Ergle; and her siblings, Jacqueline Nugent and Jack Nugent.

She is survived by : her children, John Abercrombie (Erica), Charles Robert Abercrombie and Paisleigh Preston (Jason); her brother Charles Nugent; and her grandchildren, Noah David Cannon and AnnaLeigh Kathryn Cannon.
