She was predeceased by: her parents, Duel H Melvin and Bessie Lucille Gilley Melvin; her husband Larry Day; and her grandsons, Eugene Day and Samuel Day.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Day, Mark Day (DeeDee), Melvin Day (Angie), Michael Day (Deborah) and Melody Sandlin (Donald); and her brothers, Rickey Melvin (Ruth) and Roger Melvin (Judy). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; family and friends.
