He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Smith and Avalene Smith; his sister Betty Sue Smith; and his grandson Charlie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Doris Smith; his sister Jan Hand; his children, Christina Thoennes, Laura Smith Bell, Gene Smith (Lara), Nick Smith (Wendy) and Isaac Smith; and his stepchildren, Carla Dees, Stan Dees and Kim Dees. He is also survived by step-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
