He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Thomas; his children, Daniel Thomas Jr. (Tammy), Danielle O'Donnell (Thomas), Dixie Heininger (Robert), Deanna Schofield (Erik), Crystal Malone (Henry) and Ashley Fillman (Patrick); and his siblings, Earl M. Thomas (Nancy), Ronald M. Thomas, Joanne Weber (Bruce), Sandi Blose and Cynthia McDonnell. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
