He is survived by: his wife Judith Bates; his children, Denise Phillips (Jim), Bruce Bates (Debbie) and Brian Bates (Sarah); his sister Diana Mills (Gary); his grandchildren, Beth Gorham (Jason), Mark, Katie0 Bates, Dustin Venz (Jasmine), Jake Phillips (Mandy), Mitch Bates (Lenae), Ella Bates and Colt Bates; and his great grandchildren, Jacy Gorham, Jayla Gorham, Cameron Phillips, Jaron Gorham, Aiden Jimenez, Chase Phillips, Mathew Venz and Evelyn Bates.
