He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Goodwin and Delta Calvert Goodwin; his wife Gearldean Blackwood Goodwin; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Nancy Goodwin; and his siblings, Canard, J. B. Goodwin, Esther Freeman, Margie Langley, Louise Williams and Betty Jean Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Goodwin and Karen Hooper (Scotty); and his grandchildren, Seth Hooper, Lonna Yearwood (Tyler), Katie Drummond (Adam), Christina Hauenstein (Luke), Candace Haines (Brian) and Becky Cornelius. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and, a host of family and friends.
