With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Gilmer Murphy of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Gilmer Murphy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband A. Murphy; her parents, Lynn Gilmer and Ollie Gilmer; and her siblings, Willis Gilmer and Adine Gilmer Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Malinda Windham (Greg), Tom Murphy (Kris) and Alan Murphy (Kim); her grandchildren, Andrew Windham, Jason Windham, Beth Windham Collins, Andrew Murphy, William Murphy and Thomas Lynn Murphy; and her niece Gayle McAlister. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the family is requesting that relatives and friends pause during this time to memorialize Mrs. Murphy in thanksgiving and praise for her life here on earth.
