He is survived by: his wife Debbie Guisto Skeens; his children, Duke Skeens (Tammy) of Ohio, Edgar Skeens, III of Georgia, Malissa Skeens of Cullman, Amber Evans (Michael) of Georgia, Beth Slocumb (Don) and Susie Strength (Derrick); his siblings, Johnny Skeens, Joe Skeens, Leona King and Kathy Larson; and his sisters-in-law, Terry Attaway and Kathy Cady. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
