It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlene Shannon Haynes of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shannon and Mattie Bowen Shannon; her husband Leonard Haynes; her daughters, Brenda Sizemore and Janet Haynes; her grandson Brandon Ausban; and her siblings, Viola Cook and Thomas Shannon.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Gilley (Brad), Kenneth Haynes, Kathy Sweatmon (Randy), Keith Haynes (Juanita), Teresa Burns, Kelvin Haynes, Chris Haynes, Stephanie Haynes and Sandra Bryson (Robert); her grandchildren, Sabrina, Josh, Beth, Laura, Matt, Jeremy, Brittany, Adam, Bryan, Nick, Aaron, Anthony, Zac, Cody, Heather, Austin, Courtney, Stephen and Miranda Trotter; and her sister Mary Barnes (Jerry). She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
