She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Richard and Minnie Mae Rooker Posey; her son Shannon Corley; and her siblings, Mava Whitaker, Robert E. Posey and James Posey.
She is survived by: her former husband Windol Corley; and her sisters, Glenda Dunlap (Ben) and Milda Laney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
