He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G Shikle and Mollie McKinney Shikle; his children-in-law, Joe Spradlin and Sandy Shikle; and his siblings, Margaret Abbott, Bobby Shikle and Junior Shikle.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Shikle; his children, Delane Shikle, Dale Shikle, Darren Shikle and Lisa Spradlin; his grandchildren, Chad Spradlin, Cody Shikle, Jason Spradlin (Tisa) and Selina Stricklin (Colton); and his great grandchildren, McKenzlie Spradlin, Logan Spradlin, Gage Spradlin, Ella Spradlin, Levi Shikle, Keegan Stricklin and Mason Stricklin.
