We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2018, at the age of 55, Gary Don Shores (Cullman, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wives, Mary Gary and Mary Rivers Shores; his parents, Billy J. and Brooksie Shores; his siblings, Andrea M. Shores and Lance W. Shores; his sisters-in-law, Judy Bradford (Ralph), Sherry Calvert (William) and Donna Cottingham (Jackie); his nieces and nephews, Christa Spratling (Eric), Emily Bradford, Stephen Calvert (Minnie), Eric Cottingham (Helen) and Elliott Cottingham; his close friends, David Cottingham, Karen Cottingham, Brian Cunningham and Vicki Cunningham; and also Farmer Gary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Rise Center at The University of Alabama.
