She was predeceased by: her husband Porter Lavone Holmes; her parents, Walter Lee Logan and Mary Savanah Jacobs Logan; and her siblings, Virginia Logan Noel, Wilma Jean Logan Bowden, Wallace Virgil Logan and Ralph Maxwell Logan.

She is survived by: her children, Kerry Holmes Bittle, Donnie Holmes (Dawn) and Aaron Holmes (Tracey); her grandchildren, Brandy Marie Wylie, Katie Holmes Powell (Matt), Kassie Holmes Ferguson (Adam), Dempsey Allen Bittle II, Kaitlin Michelle Holmes Purser, Zackery Chase Holmes and John Patrick Brunner; and her great grandchildren, Rowan Brunner, Eathan Ferguson, Preston Wylie and Easton James Purser.
