He is survived by: his children, April German (Craig), Heather Hankey, James Jr. Hankey (Shelbie), Brad Hankey (Sherri) and Travis Bowen; his siblings, Esther Turner (Wells) and Dennis Hankey (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Hayden Witcher, Brodey Witcher, Peyton German, Brooklyn Hankey, Brayden Hankey, Sawyer Hankey, Paige Stewart (Jacob), Clara Hankey, Tillie Hankey and Jade Hankey.
