He was predeceased by: his wife Erma Jean McAvoy; his son William Keith McAvoy; and his parents, Chester McAvoy and Alice Dee Weems McAvoy. He is survived by: his children, Daryl Glenn McAvoy (Betsy), Rachel Ray and Patricia Lawrence; his grandchildren, Steven Blake McAvoy, Cory Lee McAvoy, Fay Marie Murphy, Christopher Keith McAvoy and Stephanie Kayla Palmer; and his siblings, Lawrence McAvoy and Martha Lee.
