She was predeceased by: her parents, James Means Sr. and Hazel McSwain Means; her husband Loy D. Morris; and her siblings, Annette Means, Sarah Woods and Michael Means.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lindsay Schmale and Brittney Cosper; her siblings, Iris Baker, Ann Couch (Larry), Peggy Lynn (Jimmy), James Means Jr. (Carolyn) and Richard Means (Jodie); her grandchildren, Caleb Schmale and Cohen Scott; and her great grandchild River Schmale.
